Does writing out and posting your feelings in a more or less public forum where many of your friends/associates can read them "enable" you to avoid dealing with these situations directly? That's the $1 billion question (Note the usage of billion - got to think bigger. I'd think bigger still but my mind is getting fried. Not enough sleep)... You see, if someone reads your postings and KNOWS you they are (for good, evil or indifference) free to interpret what you write without the benefit of YOU there to assist them with facial expressions, tone, pitch, gesture or most importantly, any clarification. So - this can easily become a horrific pit of misunderstandings. This journal is not for "them". It is for me. It is a forum for me to post What, When, and How I please; - and in the manner I see fit. I make choices. Truthfully I may not please everyone. I often please no one. But to be honest, that's not the purpose of this forum. I lock most of these posts to a select few. If you have the privilege of being able to read these, then consider yourself lucky that I trust you, rather than seeing fit to rip my feelings and thoughts apart in the belief that what I write has some bearing on "you". Most likely (90% of the time) - it will NOT. That is called PARANOIA and it will earn you a place OFF my friends list. That does not mean we are not FRIENDS. It just means I do not feel you should be privvy to my thoughts. If you perceive that to be offensive, that's your choice. Your Problem. . PS - I did say I was direct right? So, before the games begin - I would enter a DISCLAIMER on this Live Journal of mine: If you question anything you read here and claim to know the author, you surely must know said individual well enough to actually open your mouth and ask for some level of clarification on what it is you think may be true.
